Summer Stage offers exciting acting, singing, and dancing programs for youth entering second grade through age 25. Eighth graders and above also may take advantage of behind-the-scenes production programs.
The Open House begins with a short performance by Summer Stage interns previewing production numbers from this year’s Children’s Musical Theatre Season including: High School Musical 2, Willy Wonka Junior, Beauty and the Beast, and Disney Spectacular. The performance will also feature a glimpse of the summer’s Dance Explosion.
Members of the Summer Stage 2009 staff will be available to answer questions about all nine Summer Stage camps including:
- Kid’s Stuff, a five-week morning program for those entering second and third grades. This camp offers three hours of daily workshops as an introduction to the world of theatre. Full day options are available.
- Apprentice, a five-week morning program for those entering fourth and fifth grades. Apprentices will take daily classes in creative dramatics, music, dance, and creative movement. The camp culminates with a musical review. Full day options are available.
