ACTING: 
This course covers all the bases of stage performance for your young artist.Drama, comedy, improvisation, creating a character, you name it, it’s covered!
* 90 minute class billed at the 60 minute rate.

 

AUDITION PREP

( for college, community theatre & more)
TUESDAY, 6:30 – 7:30
Class to begin early October.  Call to be put on contact list.

Audition Prep: Students will work with multiple professionals in the field to prepare monologues and songs for auditions for college, university, conservatory, community and regional theatre. This course will be lead by Kean University adjunct acting and improv professor and professional actress, Marissa Wolf.



                              HULA DANCE
                                 Tuesdays, 6:30 – 7:30

HULA DANCE: This class is the gateway into the art and culture of Hawaiian dance with hula. Explore basic stance, movement, and concepts of the hula.

KNOW HOW TO GO PRO
   for children in 6th – 12th grade 

KNOW HOW TO GO PRO:  Our professional faculty wants to share their knowledge and skills on how to break into the acting world! Students will leave the class with a resume, headshot, monologues, scene skills, songs, a film reel, and the confidence to make it!  Call to be put on the contact list for this workshop.

             MUSICAL THEATRE COMPANY

                                  Thursdays  6:00 – 8:00

MUSICAL THEATRE COMPANYThis year we are turning the volume up! Performers in this program will perform holiday and musical theatre favorites around the area, then begin working on a full scale musical performance of  performed at the Dennis Flyer Theatre!   * This two hour class is billed at the 90 minute rate.

 
STAGE MAKE-UP
Mondays 5:30-6:30

STAGE MAKE-UP: Learn the ins and
outs of stage makeup for exploration and work behind the scenes on film sets, television shoots and live theatre. This class will walk students through the basics of makeup all the way through to the special effect techniques used on their favorite screen or live theatre characters.

                      THEATRE ON THE FLY
                                 for 4th – 12th graders
                              Wednesdays – 5:30 – 6:30

THEATER ON THE FLY: Have you ever wanted to make up a show as you go along? Have you ever wondered what the professionals do when they forget their lines on stage? Have you ever wanted to create a show of your own, and perform it in front of an audience? Then the brand new Improvisational Ensemble class is for you! This class will involve learning how to act on the spot, how to work together as a team, and how to incorporate improvisation into theatre, all through fun games and exercises.

HULA FITNESS
: This class provides a total body workout to traditional Polynesian drumbeats and music. Beginner Hawaiian and Tahitian dance moves will be explored to help increase muscle strength and definition.
