BLACKWOOD, NJ. August 10, 2026 — Mainstage Center for the Arts is proud to announce its 2026–2027 season, featuring seven productions and a full slate of educational opportunities designed to help students of all ages grow as performers in a supportive, creative environment.
The upcoming season offers performance opportunities for young performers from kindergarten through high school, with productions ranging from beloved Disney favorites to Broadway classics. Each production is designed to help students build confidence, develop performance skills, and experience the collaborative process of bringing stories to life on stage.
The 2026–2027 performance season includes:
- Elf JR. (Grades 6–12) — November 6–8, 2026
- Puffs (Grades 9–12) — January 22–24, 2027
- Magic Tree House: The Knight at Dawn KIDS (Grades 3–5) — March 12–13, 2027
- Disney KIDS Revue (Grades K–2) — March 12–13, 2027
- Dare to Dream JR. (Grades 6–8) — April 9–11, 2027
- Chicago: Teen Edition (Grades 9–12) — May 21–23, 2027
- Alice (Grades 3–5) — June 4–6, 2027
In addition to its production season, Mainstage offers studio classes throughout the year. These skills-based classes are designed to help students strengthen specific areas of acting, musical theater, and performance through focused instruction. Offered in flexible sessions across the year, our classes allow families to choose programs that best fit their schedules and interests.
Students can also participate in private lessons, which provide personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to each student’s individual goals. Lessons are offered in convenient 4-session and 8-session packages with flexible lesson lengths to meet each student’s needs.Whether preparing for auditions, building confidence, or developing vocal, acting, or performance techniques, private lessons offer a customized learning experience that supports continued artistic growth.
