ONE DAY PERFORMING ARTS CAMPS

School is closed, and you need child care for just one day?
Mainstage Center for the Arts has an affordable solution that combines childcare with a fun day of learning & play in the creative & performing arts. Enroll your child in Kindergarten through 6th grade in one of our ONE DAY Performing Arts Camps on January 15 (MLK Jr. Day) or February 19 (Presidents’ Day).
What will we do?
We’ll be working on a “Play in a Day!” Teachers will lead fun warm-ups in the morning, and each student will create a character for the day. The group will then spend the day writing and rehearsing a show. We will record their creation and send a link to the video so you can watch the show and share it with friends and family.
Students will play fun character-building games, learn the basics of what they need to put on a show, create costumes and sets from our stock, and have a fun-filled day!
Our One Day Performing Arts Camps run from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, with before and after care available from 8:00 am – 9:00 am and 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Program activity hours from 9:00 – 4:00 are only $65. For an additional $10, you may add on before or aftercare, or for $15, get both.
Both One Day Performing Arts Camps will occur at The Studio at Mainstage, 27 S. Blackhorse Pike, Blackwood, NJ 08012. Students should bring 1-2 peanut-free snacks and a peanut-free lunch, as well as a water bottle, sneakers, or closed-toed shoes and their imaginations!
