Parents will be required to complete and sign an online Covid related questionnaire each week within 2 hours of the student’s arrival for class.
Parents will be asked to keep students home if they show any symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with Covid.
Students will enter and exit the classroom through an exterior door directly related to their classroom.
Students and faculty will be required to wear masks at all times.
Faculty will take the temperatures of the students before they enter the classroom.
Students must use hand sanitizer before they enter the classroom.
Students must arrive ON TIME. Exterior doors will be locked by the teachers 3 – 5 minutes after class start time.
Parents are asked to remain in the parking lot or in close proximity to the building for the duration of the class in the event that a child shows symptoms and must leave the class.
Students are asked to come dressed for the class and arrive with only the minimum items specifically needed for the class.
Students are asked to please use the bathroom before they leave their house as it is preferred that the students NOT use the bathrooms in the building unless absolutely necessary
FACULTY/ADMINISTRATION COVID PLAN
Faculty will be asked to take their own temperature BEFORE they leave their home to teach.
Faculty will be asked to immediately move their class to a virtual setting if they are showing any symptoms of covid, have a fever, or have been told that they have been in close proximity with someone who has been diagnosed assuming that they are physically able.
Faculty will be asked to take student temperatures before they enter the classroom.
Faculty will be asked to disinfect their classroom after each class.
Faculty will be asked IF they themselves use a restroom, that they use the one assigned to their classroom and that they carefully disinfect it after their use. The administration will handle the disinfecting of the bathrooms after student use.
MCA has installed Hepa Filters in each classroom. They will also provide the supplies necessary for disinfecting classrooms after and in between each class.
