Voice, Acting & Performance Coaching in South Jersey
Private lessons at Mainstage Center for the Arts provide personalized training in voice, acting, and musical theater performance for students starting at age 9. These one-on-one lessons allow students to focus on their individual goals while developing strong performance skills.
Our private instructors work with students on:
- Vocal technique and musical theater singing
- Acting and scene study
- Audition preparation for theater, school productions, and college programs

Meet Our Private Lesson Instructors
Elyse Langley
Private Voice Lessons
Elyse is a southern New Jersey native who showed a passion and talent for performing from a young age. After attending the New Jersey Governor’s School of the Arts Elyse went on to attend Rider University where she graduated with honors and a bachelor’s of music degree in musical theatre.
While in college Elyse studied under Metropolitan Opera and Broadway Singer Claudia Catania. After College Elyse continued her studies in NYC at the William Esper Acting Studio and The Mathew Farnsworth Vocal Studio.
She has performed locally at The Walnut Street Theatre, Bristol Riverside Theatre, and The Media Theatre, as well as theaters in New York, Wisconsin, Texas, and more.
When Elyse is not on stage she can be found performing for groups and clubs all over the tristate area, teaching voice and acting lessons, and raising her beautiful baby girl with her husband James.
Christina Healey
Private Voice Lessons
Christina Healey (she/her) is a South Jersey-based performance artist and educator with a passion for creation, exploration, and coffee. She holds a B.F.A. in Acting from Arcadia University and a Master’s in Higher Education from Purdue Global.
Christina has performed all over the country and around the globe, including work with Disneyland Paris Live Entertainment, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu. In addition to acting, she is also a teaching artist in South Jersey and Philadelphia and serves as the artistic director of Studio 324 Productions.
Christina teaches actors to live honestly in their work, approaching acting through Meisner, Stanislavsky, and Alexander Technique. Her goal is to help each student build a toolbox of skills they can bring with them to find success in any creative space.
She loves the art of creation and is thrilled to share that passion with others!
