Summer Stage

Where Magic & Memories Share the Spotlight.

Founded in 1989 as Mainstage’s flagship program, Summer Stage stands as one of South Jersey’s longest-running and most beloved summer theater programs. Our seven-week program is designed for young performers of all experience levels, blending professional instruction with the excitement of fully staged productions.

Explore Our Programs

Summer Stage offers a dynamic theater experience led by seasoned theater professionals. Held weekdays at Camden County College, each program concludes with a fully staged production at the Dennis Flyer Theater, a 600-seat venue.

Why Families Choose Summer Stage

For generations, Summer Stage has been a highlight of the year for South Jersey families, offering far more than just rehearsals for a show.

While campers prepare for a fully staged production, they also enjoy the moments that make summer truly memorable. From themed activities and special events to shared traditions and lasting friendships, participants take part in a program that balances theater arts training with the joy and fun of summer.
