Blackwood Pumpkin Festival Volunteer Opportunities.

The Blackwood Pumpkin Festival, hosted by Mainstage Center for the Arts, is one of our largest community events of the year. Each October, thousands of visitors gather in downtown Blackwood to celebrate the fall season with local vendors, entertainment, family activities, and more.

About the Festival

Held in the heart of downtown Blackwood, NJ, the festival transforms downtown into a lively celebration of fall with more than 200+ vendors, live entertainment, food, shopping, and family-friendly activities including inflatables, games, pumpkin painting, scarecrow building and more!

Volunteer Opportunities
The success of the Blackwood Pumpkin Festival depends on the support of our amazing volunteers. Each year, more than 100 volunteers help bring the event to life by assisting with event setup, activity stations, vendor support, and general festival operations.

Volunteer shifts begin as early as 6:00 a.m. and continue throughout the day until 5:00 p.m., with a variety of roles available for individuals and groups.
