WHAT IS SHOW CHOIR?
A show choir is a musical ensemble that combines choral singing with choreographed dance.
ABOUT THE ENCORE SHOW CHOIR
The Encore Show Choir, is a tuition based program geared toward middle school aged students to help them develop performance skills. Throughout Encore, students will learn to master challenging choreography, sing intricate choral vocals, grasp ensemble building, and build performance training.
Encore is designed to be a training program for the successful high school aged Harmony Show Choir. Students in the choir will have the chance to learn, perform and build friendships.

REHEARSALS
Members of the choir are expected to attend weekly rehearsals on Sundays starting September 8, 2024.
Time: 3:00pm – 5:00pm

Are there opportunities for solos or featured roles?
Yes, there are opportunities for both vocal solos and dance features in multiple numbers.
Is there a dress code for performances?
We have a dress code for performances that includes both casual and formal looks.
What types of music do you perform?
Our performances cater to a wide range of musical tastes, ensuring an engaging experience for every audience member.
What commitment is expected from members?
We encourage every member to make an effort to attend as many weekly rehearsals and performances as possible during their season. Additionally, we run on a season schedule are for those who need it, ensuring flexibility to accommodate various commitments.
Can I join mid-year?
Yes, you can join mid-year! This season, we offer flexible enrollment opportunities, allowing you to start at any point. If you choose to sign up for just one season initially, it’s easy to add on additional seasons later. We want to make it convenient for you to participate in Harmony Show Choir!
