Studio Financial Policies
(last updated September 2024)

The Studio at Mainstage offers tuition either as a total fee per class or as a fee broken down into monthly installments, as detailed in the payment breakdown. The installment amount remains the same regardless of the number of classes held each month and includes any additional dress/tech rehearsal or performance preparations throughout the year.

Performance Classes:

All performance classes will culminate in a public performance at Camden County College, as noted in the class welcome letter. Call times and performance times are listed for your reference.

Skill-Based Classes:

Skill-based classes will feature an invited parent showcase at the end of the 8th week of each session, where students will share their skill development with family and friends.

It is Mainstage policy that you are purchasing a reserved place in the class, not individual classes. Tuition is non-refundable, and no adjustments can be made for the number of classes in a given month or for days missed due to illness or personal inconveniences. If a class is canceled by Mainstage, every effort will be made to offer a make-up class at a time convenient for both our staff and students.

Payment Plan:

Your enrollment fee reserves a place in your class. This fee is charged once upon enrollment and is non-refundable.

As outlined in the payment schedule, Mainstage may automatically charge your debit/credit card on file on the first of each month. If the card on file is declined, you will receive an email or phone call from the Business Manager. If payment is not made within one week, you will receive a letter with payment options. After the second attempt, your child/children will not be permitted to participate in class until payment is received.

Payment by Check:

If a check is returned for insufficient funds, account holders will be charged a $35.00 service fee in addition to their regular monthly tuition payment. The total amount due must be delivered in cash directly to the Studio at Mainstage by the 10th of that month to retain your space.

Class Changes/Withdrawals:

Performance Classes: Withdrawals will result in the cessation of future payments. Amounts paid up until the withdrawal will NOT be refunded. To allow directors adequate time to restructure their productions, withdrawals will only be accepted until the following dates:

She Kills Monsters: October 15, 2024

My Superhero Show, Jungle Book Kids, Snow White …, Into the Woods, Jr: November 15, 2024

Happily Ever After, Dinosaurs Before Dark Kids, Peter Pan…, High School Musical, Jr., Too Much Light…: March 15, 2025

Skills-Based Classes: For single 8-week sessions, there is no withdrawal or refund once the session has begun. For those opting into monthly installments, your withdrawal form must be submitted by the 10th of the month to stop payments in the following month (i.e. submit by March 10 to stop payments before April 1). If submitted later, a cancellation may still be possible but could incur a $25 late cancellation fee. No refunds will be offered; withdrawals will only stop future payments.
