Color B&W A week long cabaret intensive, available for ages 5-17.
This summer, Mainstage Center for the Arts is introducing a brand new offering that can be paired with their usual Summer Stage program. The Spotlighters Cabaret is an exciting new opportunity for Summer Stage students to work together to put on a cabaret!
As a performer, you step onto the enchanting stage, bathed in the warm glow of the spotlight, ready to share your unique talents with an eager audience. It’s a chance to be part of something magical, where the spotlight becomes a beacon illuminating the boundless possibilities of artistic expression.
The Spotlighters Cabaret will be a one-week intensive camp focused on crafting a cabaret experience. If you’ve been eager to perform a specific song or seek feedback, this is an excellent opportunity to bring it to camp, receive guidance from your director, and showcase it for your family! Directors will also select both large and small group numbers to enhance your musical and dance skills through practice.
Session #1
Dates: June 17, 2024 – June 21, 2024
Camp Times: 9:00PM – 3:00PM
(No camp June 19th)
Cost: $175 (Register for both sessions and save $15!)
This camp is held at our studio location (27 S. Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ, 08012).
A final performance will be held at Camden County College (200 College Drive, Blackwood, NJ 08012).
Session #2
Dates: August 5, 2024 – August 9, 2024
Camp Times: 9:00PM – 3:00PM
Cost: $215 (Register for both sessions and save $15!)
Please note: that those registered in Children’s Theatre Session #2 are not able to participate in the August cabaret.
The dates overlap with their show week.
This camp is held at our studio location (27 S. Black Horse Pike, Blackwood, NJ, 08012).
A final performance will be held at Camden County College (200 College Drive, Blackwood, NJ 08012).

If the financial commitment associated with the program presents a challenge for your family, we want to extend the opportunity for a partial scholarship based on demonstrated financial need. To apply for this scholarship, we kindly request that you complete a brief application, which can be accessed through the provided link below.
Please note that those who wish to apply for a scholarship we ask that you please submit your application two weeks prior to the beginning of the session you wish to register your child.

When you register you will be directed to a Paypal site which will collect the registration fees. At that time, you can choose various methods to make your payment. Mainstage will not be able to accept partial payments, however, a credit card, Paypal Credit (where you have up to 6 months to pay with no interest) or Paypal Pay in 4 (where you can make four payments without interest) will provide you the opportunity to pay through installments. If you are seeking any financial aid through Mainstage, you must submit a scholarship application (linked above).
Once we meet our quota for students in a program, we will begin a waiting list. We will accept registrants in the order in which they register so please get your registration in early.
