Kate OrlandoManaging Director- Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary Modern, Company Director(null)-2

Kate grew up training and performing with the Atlantic Contemporary Ballet Theatre (now the Atlantic City Ballet) and attended Montclair State University for her BFA in Dance.  With a minor in theatre, Kate performed in both the dance and theatre productions at Montclair as well as choreographing for the dance department, which awarded her the Artistic Achievement Award in 2002. Kate went on to perform in North Jersey, New York City and the Kennedy Center, both on stage and film, as well as teaching dance at NJPAC and other schools and organizations in north jersey.For the past 14 years, Kate has been an artistic director, choreographer, director, teacher, performer and studio owner in the south jersey area in both areas of dance and theatre.  She has choreographed productions at various theatres in the area including the Broadway Theatre of Pitman, The Eagle Theatre and the Ritz Theatre. Kate has also been teaching ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, creative dance and dance for musical theatre to all ages over the past 18 years. Kate is beyond thrilled to be joining the staff at Mainstage! 

Amanda Romano–Ballet, Contemporary Modern

Amanda Romano is a New Jersey/New York based Dance Artist. She holds her B.F.A in dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts and her Masters Degree in Dance Education from the Graduate School of Education, at Rutgers University (May 2015). Amanda holds a PK-12 Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing in Dance Teaching. During her time at Rutgers University she gained knowledge in dance pedagogy, dance technique, dance history, choreography and improvisational skills, kinesiology and performance techniques. She had the privilege to train under experienced teachers and guest artists such as Randy James, Julia Ritter, Kim Gibilisco, Reagan Wood, just to name a few. Amanda has performed repertory with many faculty members and guest artists, such as Shen Wei Dance Arts, Robert Battle, Randy James, and Julia Ritter. She has performed with the Dance Theatre Company in Long Island NY and has choreographed for different studios and High Schools in the Ny/NJ area. She has loved dance her entire life and enjoy’s sharing her love with her students.

Gabriella Rosa Sebastiano Hip Hop

Gabriella Rosa Sebastiano began studying dance at Eden School of Dance.  She furthered her passion at Chez Dance Studio, Kathy Henkel’s School of Dance, and Mainstage School of Dance, as well as her four years within Williamstown High School’s dance program.  Gabriella’s high school presented her with the Outstanding Choreography award on her senior dance piece— it was also included in the school’s end-of-year recital.  Throughout her journey with Mainstage, she has been in various local performances, such as the Blackwood Pumpkin Festival and the ABC Channel 6 Thanksgiving Day Parade.  In 2013, she was given the opportunity to choreograph hip-hop pieces in “Ready, Set, Dance!” and “Broadway Dances” at Mainstage Center for the Arts’ Summer Stage program.  Ever since then, she discovered her endless love for teaching dance to her students and will embark on her fifth year of teaching at Mainstage.  Gabriella is currently studying Elementary Education at Rowan University to eventually teach and inspire students in the classroom.  Miss Gabby is extremely thankful to continue living her dream of teaching dance, as well as sharing her love for dance with her wonderful students.

Janet Rowley Klimoski is a Philadelphia based professional actress, choreographer, and teaching artist.  Regionally as a performer, Janet has worked with The Walnut Street Theatre, The Kimmel Center for Performing Arts, Theatre Horizon, The Media Theatre, 11th Hour Theatre Company, Metamorphosis, Philly Music Theatre Works, and many others.  Janet got her start as a teaching artist at The Yocum Institute for Arts Education in Reading, Pennsylvania, where she still continues to teach on occasion.  Through this school, she has taught music and voice, dance, and theatre classes for ages three to teen.  Here she was also given the opportunity to teach a drama class for inner city teens as a rehabilitation program; one of her most challenging, but rewarding classes.  In the Philadelphia area, Janet teaches various classes, including an Autism Drama class for students with special needs; a program developed by Theatre Horizon.  Through this program, students are able to open up their senses and creativity, and simply connect.  She also has a wide knowledge working with students of all ages and demographics, as she was a teacher’s assistant in special needs classrooms for several years. Janet is thrilled to begin a new working relationship with Mainstage Center for the Arts!

 Loredana Sainato has been dancing since she was three and has always had a passion for it. She studied at Kathy Henkel School of Dance and Mainstage Center for the Arts. She competed for several years and won many awards and titles. Along with living her dream of becoming a dance instructor, she is continuing her education at Rowan College at Gloucester County majoring in elementary and special education. Loredana is eager to start her journey as a teacher as a staff member at The Studio at Mainstage.

Selina Stanford–Acro/Flexibilty

Selina Stanford is currently a senior at Temple University as a Kinesiology major. She has been coaching gymnastics for the past 9 years and was a former gymnast. Within her coaching career, she has worked as a competitive team coach under the USAIGC program. Selina also completed an internship with the Temple Women’s Gymnastics Team last semester. Among various coaching safety and spotting clinics/accreditations, she holds her AED, CPR, and concussion certifications.
